Shree Sambhavnath Jain Teerth
Shri Beda Teerth located in Rajasthan is a Jain pilgrimage centre. The teerth kshetra is situated in the old Beda village which is at a distance of 5 kilometers from the New Beda village. The temple is dedicated to Lord Parshvanatha, the twenty-third Jain Tirthankara.
History of Shri Beda Teerth
As per the history Shri Beda Teerth is a very ancient teerth. The teerth finds its mention in many scriptures and tirthmalas. Several songs have also been written in praise of this teerth kshetra. Being located in the Aravalli Mountain Ranges it serves as a perfect place for meditation and other religious activities. The Lord is named here as Dada Parshvanath which is also a name of Dokoriya Parshvanatha in the teerth of Chandraprabhas Patan and of Sesali Parshvanatha. The idol of Lord Parshvanatha is believed to possess miraculous powers. Many devotees from different places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is believed that if prayed with all devotion the Lord fulfils the wishes of the pilgrims.
