Shree Sambhavnath Jain Teerth

Shri Beda Teerth located in Rajasthan is a Jain pilgrimage centre. The teerth kshetra is situated in the old Beda village which is at a distance of 5 kilometers from the New Beda village. The temple is dedicated to Lord Parshvanatha, the twenty-third Jain Tirthankara. 

History of Shri Beda Teerth 
As per the history Shri Beda Teerth is a very ancient teerth. The teerth finds its mention in many scriptures and tirthmalas. Several songs have also been written in praise of this teerth kshetra. Being located in the Aravalli Mountain Ranges it serves as a perfect place for meditation and other religious activities. The Lord is named here as Dada Parshvanath which is also a name of Dokoriya Parshvanatha in the teerth of Chandraprabhas Patan and of Sesali Parshvanatha. The idol of Lord Parshvanatha is believed to possess miraculous powers. Many devotees from different places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is believed that if prayed with all devotion the Lord fulfils the wishes of the pilgrims. 

Temple of Shri Beda Teerth 
The temple of Shri Beda Teerth houses the idol of Dada Parshvanatha Bhagwan. The sculptural work of the temple and the intricate designs stands as a unique specimen of ancient art. The walls and the pillars of the temple are adorned with beautiful paintings and artistic designs. The splendid temple work boast about the artistic skills of the craftsmen. The idol f the Lord is 65 cm in height and is black in colour. The idol has been beautifully carved from a single stone and looks very appealing. The smiling face of the Lord looks very calm and serene. The idol is surmounted by nine hoods. 

The Temple of Sri Laj Teerth organizes many annual gatherings and functions that are celebrated with much enthusiasm. There are provisions for dharamshalas or rest houses for the pilgrims.
