Some special features of this unique krishnagiri temple

Jain dharma consists of 24 tirthankars. Swami Parshwanath Bhagwan is the 23rd tirthankar among these 24 tirthankars. Hence the concept of Shakthipeeth basically concentrates on the worship (Mathrupasana or aradhana) of Swami Parshwanath Bhagwan.

Jain dharma gives importance or prominence to athma sadhana or the inner search (knowing the once true self). Pooja and bhakti are just mediums to realize one self and the Krishnagiri tirth’s motive is to make one realize his/her self.

Hence Krishnagiri is a center or platform for peace and harmony. Today Krishnagiri Shaktipeeth is the world’s highest Jain temple adorning images of the Tirthankar Arihanta Paramatmas.
