Importance

The inscriptions on the ruins show that the style & artwork belongs to the 8th Century. The ‘Oshvansh’ lineage is said to have initiated here. This is the revered place of Osiyaji Mata ( Sachhiyaay Mata) – the KulDevi of all the Oswal community members. Also this is believed to be the place where Adhishtayak dev have emerged as ‘Nag Nagrani’ ( Snake God & Goddess) & blessed the devotees.On the pillars & walls of the Temple, attractive artwork has been done. Also the life events of Neminath Bhagwan & Abhishek of Mahaveer Bhagwan has been potrayed here very well.

Brief History

It is believed that the Town is contemporaneity to the times of Mahaveer Swami. The temple is said to have been built by Raja Utpalavdev & Pratishta was done by Acharya Ratnaprabhsuriji.
