How To Reach
The nearby railway station of Abu Road from where one has to come here Via Mount Abu Dilwara. There are many Buses plying between Abu Road railway station and Mount Abu. From Mount Abu, many Buses go to Achalgadh. Also taxis are available. From the foothills of Achalgadh, the ascent to the temple is of 400 meters. For elderly people, chair carriers are available. Buses and cars can go upto the foothills which is about 6 Kms from Mount Abu and 4 Kms from Dilwara temple.

Architecture
The climb through the steps of Achalgarh fort takes you to the entrance to the Jain temple before the very top of the steps. A sense of serenity envelops the courtyard, with its white marble pillars and carved sculptures. From the courtyard a few more steps will take you to the shrine. The main idol weighs several tons and is made of Panchloha. The temple is a “chaumukhi”, with an idol facing all four cardinal directions. There is a second set of
chaumukhi idols above the main shrine, accessed by yet another short flight of steps.

Mount Abu is a popular hill station in the Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state in western India. It has been a favored destination for tourists away from the heat of Rajasthan and neighbouring Gujarat for centuries. The Achalgarh fort was built in the 14th century by Rana Kumbha of Mewar. The fort is now in ruins.
