PRESIDING DEITY AND LOCATION :

Sri Adinath Bhagwan in black color seated in a lotus posture in a shrine located in the village of Punali. ( Shve).

ANTIQUITY AND SALIENT FEATURES :

A reference is found that this temple was constructed during 11th Vikram century. During renovations in Vikram year 1657, this particular idol was consecrated. It is said that it had become necessary to change the ancient idol during renovations as both the temple and idol was damaged.

This place being an ancient one is also a miraculous place. The fiol of Prabhu is very charming captivating and also very artistic. Lot of Jain and non-Jains come here for Darshan and get their desires fulfilled. Lot of people from the nearby village throng this shrine for Darshan during Poornima every month. There si other temple in the close proximity here.

APPROACH – ROUTE :

The nearest Railway station is of Dungarpur that is 25 Kms away from here. Cars and buses are available here. The bus stand is only ½ Kms away from the temple. Cars, buses can go upto the temple.

AMENITIES FOR JAIN PILGRIMS :

There is no facility of staying over here right now.
