PRESIDING DEITY AND LOCATION :

Sri Jirawala Parshvanath Bhagwan seated in a lotus posture, of height 68 Cms in a shrine located in Tera village. (Shve).

ANTIQUITY AND SALIENT FEATURES :

This idol is believed to have been ceremonially installed by King Samprati. The renovation of the temple was carried out in Vikram year 1915. The last repairs to the temple were carried out in Vikram year 2027 and the temple was ceremonially consecrated at the hands of Acharya Sri Gunasagarsursihvarji. The significance of the temple is because of its being one of the Abdasa Panch Tirthi. The architecture in building nine Sikhars of the temple is particularly praiseworthy. IT is become famous as a temple of nine Sikhars and this lends enhancement to the view outside. In Gnan-Mandir of the temple, the art with which “Tirth-Pat” is executed is specially worth seeing.

Near this temple there is one another temple of Shyamala Parshvanath Bhagwan.

APPROACH – ROUTE :

The nearby Railway Station of Bhuj is 108 Kms away where taxis and buses are available. From shrine of Nalia, this is 15 Kms and that from Tera it is 28 Kms away. In the village the bus stand is 400 meters away from the temple. There is a tar road right upto the temple.

AMENITIES FOR JAIN PILGRIMS :

There is one dharamshala for lodging with all facilities and a bhojanshala for meals.
