PRESIDING DEITY AND LOCATION :

Shri Mahavir Bhagwan in white color, seated in a lotus posture of height 104 Cms in a shrine in Bodheli village. (Shve)

ANTIQUITY AND SALIENT FEATURES :
The ceremonial consecration of this temple was done at the hands of Acharya Sri Vijaysamundrasurishvarji, the disciple of Punjabkesari Shrimad vijayvallabhusurishvarji on the auspicious day of Vaishakh Sukla 9 in Vikram year 2011.

To spread the message of Jainism among thousands of Local Adivasis and Parmar Kshatriyas, the management of the temple is carrying out in an appropriate manner the work of religious propaganda. In smaller villages all around, temples and Pathshalas (study centers/ teaching centers) have been established. After completing their training many persons from here have also taken Diksha. At the present time, such an activity is very much in need and is indeed praiseworthy.

The newly constructed temple here is both attractive and beautiful. The idol of the Lord is dignified, quiet and miracle working. There is no other temple nearby.

APPROACH – ROUTE :

The railway station of Bodheli is only 100 meters from the temple. Taxis and autos are available. The place is located on Khandwa – Vadodara road and there is a tar road upto the temple. The shrine of Dabhoi is around 40 Kms, Vadodara 62 Kms and that of Lakshamani is 92 Kms away from this place.
