PRESIDING DEITY AND LOCATION :

Sri Vahi Parshvanath Bhagwan seated in a lotus posture in black color and of height 123 Cms in a shrine located in Vahi village. (Shve)

ANTIQUITY AND SALIENT FEATURES :

According to a reference, this temple was built 1100 years ago and the idol looks to be 2000 years old. There are no inscriptions on the idol.

Till now no renovations have been made. It should be because of some godly powers that a temple so ancient didn’t require any renovation. This is very rare and even now, it looks like no renovations are required. The temple has been built in a style of an ancient fort. Every year a fair is been organized on Krishna Dasami.

Apart from this, there is another temple which has the idols of past, present and future Tirthankars as well as idols of Gods and Goddesses. There is a Dadawadi also.

There is a small lake near the temple. It has been told that below the lotus flower in the lake there is a way to go to the temple underwater.

APPROACH – ROUTE :

The railway Station of Pipalya is just 5 Kms away and Mandasor is 15 Kms away from where there is facility of auto and bus till the temple. It has a tar road till the temple.

AMENITIES FOR JAIN PILGRIMS :

There is a dharamshala as well as bhojanshala near the temple.
