Mulnayak: Nearly 45 cms high, black-coloured idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath in the Padmasana
posture. There is an umbrella of 9 hoods over the head of the idol.
Tirth: It is in the Posaliya village.
Historicity: There are many names of Bhagwan Parshvanath. There are many reasons behind it.
Due to some special historical event that has happened, due to some person behind the idol or
temple being made or due to the name of the town, city or village where the temple is located. This
Bhagwan is called Posali Parshvanath after the name of the village Posaliya where the temple is.
This temple was built by the Sangha in the year 1750 of the Vikram era. On the idol there is an
inscription of the year 1745. The idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath is miraculous. Many devotees from
different places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is believed that if prayed with all devotion
the Lord fulfils the wishes of the pilgrims.

lustrous idol is peaceful and fascinating. The idol has been beautifully carved from a single stone
and looks very gorgeous. The divine face of the Lord appears to be very calm and serene.The tirth
is situated amidst beautiful natural surroundings. The temple is enclosed by scenic beauty that
mesmerizes and fascinates the pilgrims. The temple has been magnificently decorated with
intricate artistic designs. The creative temple work boasts about the skills of the craftsmen. The
walls and pillars of the temple are adorned with specimens of ancient art and paintings.
Guidelines: The nearest railway station of Eranpur on the Sirohi – Pali highway is at a distance of
20 kilometers. Bus services and private vehicles are available. Dharamshala and Bhojanshala
facilities are available here. There is an ancient gyanbhandar and a upashraya in the village.
Scripture: A mention of this temple has been made in "Chaityaparipati". There is no other temple
of Posali Parshvanath.

प्रतिमाजी पर सं. १७४५ का लेख है, मंदिर का निर्माण वि.सं. १७५८ में हुआ था | गाँव के नाम पर ही प्रभु का नाम पोसालिया पार्श्वनाथ पड़ा है|
