- Kalpadrum Parshwanath
Mulnayak: Nearly 58cms. high white – coloured idol of Bhagwan Kalpadrum Parshvanath in the padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 7 hoods over the head of the idol.
Tirth: It is in the city of Mathura.
Historicity: The ancient name of Mathura was Indrapur. From the time of the 7th Thirthankara Shri Suparshvanath Bhagwan, Mathura became a famous pilgrimage centre of Jains. A Golden Stupa of Shri Suparshvanath Bhagwan was built by Devtas. During the period of 23rd Thirthankara Shri Parshvanath Bhagwan, this Golden Stupa was covered by bricks. In the 8th century, this Stupa was renovated by the advice of Acharya Shri Bappabhatsurishvarji. In this Stupa, Acharya Shri Haribhadrasuriji fasted for 15 days (upvaas) without food and amended the “Mahanishit Sutra” which was destroyed by worms. Mathura was a very famous city full of pride and glory with many historical events taking place here. It was the birth place of Shri Krishna Vasudev. On the advice of Acharya Shri Bappabhatsurishvarji, Aam Raja renovated the temple of Mathura in V.S.826. A new temple was built by Aam Raja and the idol of Bhagwan Mahaveer was installed by the revered hands of Acharya Shri Bappabhatsurishvarji. This was the Nirvan Bhoomi of the last Kevali Shri Jambuswami. In the 14th century, Shri Kalpadrum Parshvanath temple, Shri Neminath Bhagwan temple and Mahalakshmi Stupa were here. It is believed that the temple of Kalpadrum Parshvanath was built by Kubersena Ganika which was renovated by Aam Raja. During the Muslim invasion, this idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath was kept hidden. The last renovation of this temple was done in V.S.1984 by Muni Shri Darshanvijayji. Kalpadrum Parshvanath is also known as Mathura Parshvanath. At present, this temple is managed by Shri Chintamani Parshvanath Jain Shwetambar pedhi, Agra.
Other temples: There is no other temple at present.
Work of art and Sculpture: This is a very ancient temple. The idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath is very alluring, influencial and miraculous. It is believed that if worshipped with great faith, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled.
Guidelines: This temple is at a distance of 4kms. from Mathura railway station. Mathura is at a distance of 54kms. from Agra.
Scripture: A mention of Mathura Tirth is made in many ancient scriptures like “Uttaradhyayan Sutra”, “Vrihat Kalpasutra Tika”, “Shri Acharang Churni” etc. A mention of Kalpadrum Parshvanath is made in “Vividh Tirth Kalpa”, in “Hir Sowbhagya”, in “Sashvat Tirthmala”, in “365 Shri Parshvajin Naammala”, in “Shri Sankheswar Parshvanath Chand”, in “Shri Godi Parshvanath Stavan”, in “Tirthmala” etc. An idol of Kalpadrum Parshvanath is there in Shri Vasupujya Swami temple in Mulund.

श्री कल्पद्रुम पार्श्वनाथ – मथुरा
उत्तर प्रदेश प्रांत के मथुरा शहर में श्री कल्पद्रुम पार्श्वनाथ का मनोहर जिनालय है| प्रतिमाजी श्वेतवर्णीय २३ इंच ऊँचे और २१ इंच चौड़े है|
यमुना तट पर आया हुआ यह शहर अत्यंत प्राचीन है| प्राचीन काल में इस नगरी का नाम इंद्रपुर था| जंबू स्वामी का निर्वाण इसी नगरी में हुआ था|
१४वीं सदी तक यहाँ श्री कल्पद्रुम पार्श्वनाथ का मंदिर था| कुबेर सेना गणिका ने इस मंदिर का निर्माण कराया था| बप्पभट्टीसूरीजी के उपदेश से आमराजा ने इस मंदिर का जिणोरद्वार कराया था| मोहम्मद गोरी के आक्रमण समय इस प्रासाद का ध्वंस हो गया था, उस समय प्रतिमा की रक्षा के लिए प्रतिमाजी को भूगर्भ में छिपा दी थी|
उसके वर्षो बाद खुदाई करने पर यह प्रतिमा प्राप्त हुई|
मथुरा मंडन ये पार्श्वनाथ प्रभु मथुरा पार्श्वनाथ के नाम से भी पहिचाने जाते है|
