95.Samina Parshwanath
Mulnayak: 45 cms high, black-coloured idol of Bhagwan Samina Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 9 hoods over the head of the idol.
Tirth: It is in the Samina Kheda village near Udaipur.
Historicity: This tirth of Samina Kheda in Mewad is an ancient and impressive tirth. It is a place of many historical events. A metal idol of the eighth century was found here. This shows its antiquity. This is the birth-place of the able Khartargachh Acharya Shri Jinchandrasuri and Dadaguru Shri Jinkushalsuri. This ancient idol was reinstalled in the year 1990 and then renovated in the year 2025 of the Vikram era.The devotees believe that the idol of Lord Parshvanath has miraculous powers. Thousands of Jains and non Jains from the nearby as well as far off places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is said that if prayed with all devotion the Lord fulfils the wishes of the pilgrims. The idol has been beautifully carved from a single stone and looks very appealing. The smiling face of the Lord looks very calm and serene.
