Mulnayak: Mulnayak is Sambhavnath Bhagwan. The black – coloured beautiful idol of Bhagwan
Hrimkar Parshvanath in Padmasana posture is 25 cms. in height. There is a beautifully carved
Parrikar with an umbrella of 7 hoods behind the idol. This idol is beside the idol of Chintamani
Parshvanath Bhagwan in the basement.

Tirth: It is in Bhagwan Sambhavnath temple in Kalushi ki Pole in Ahmedabad.

Historicity: From ancient times, Jainism has flourished in Gujarat with a heavy population of Jains
living here. The most sacred Jain temples like Shatrunjay Mahatirth, Girnar Tirth, Sankheswar Tirth
are in Gujarat. Most of the pilgrim centres of Jains are in Gujarat. On the idol of Mulnayak Shri
Sambhavnath Bhagwan, the year V.S.1527 is written and on the idol of Mulnayak Shri Shantinath
Bhagwan in the top floor V.S.1670 is written. This indicates that this temple is more than 500 years
old. The temple was renovated in V.S. 2020 and the idols re-installed on the 10th day of the bright
half of the month of Shravan in V.S.2021 by the revered hands of Acharya Shri Jambusurishvarji.

1. The main temple of Hrimkar Parshvanath is in Kalushi ki Pole in Ahmedabad.
2. There is a metal idol of Hrimkar Parshvanath in the home temple of Shri Gordhandasji Patwa in
the city of Dungarpur. This idol was installed by the revered hands of Acharya Shri
Vijaysensurishvarji in the later half of the 17th century.
3. There is a temple of Hrimkar Parshvanath Bhagwan in Belgaum in Karnataka. In the shape of a
chariot, this temple was built by Shri Rajasthan Jain Shwetambar Murtipujak trust and the idol of
Hrimkar Parshvanath Bhagwan was installed on the 7th day of the dark half of the month of Paush
in V.S.2057. It is in Parshvanagar, Nanavadi in Belgaum. Phone: 0831 – 2433951.
Other Temples: There are 2 other temples here – One is an ancient temple of Mulnayak Shri Vijay
Chintamani Parshvanath Bhagwan and the other temple is of Mulnayak Shri Ajitnath Bhagwan.
