Mulnayak: Mulnayak is Shri Simandar Swami. Nearly 48 cms. high beautiful Parrikar – Yukt metal
idol of Shri Sukh Sagar Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 9 hoods
over the head of the idol. This idol is beside the idol of Shri Simandar Swami.
Tirth: It is in Doshiwada ki Pole in Ahmedabad.
Historicity: Before the 10th century, Ahmedabad was known as "Ashavala", "Ashapalli" etc.
During that period, there were many Jain temples here as there was a huge population of Jains
residing here. There were beautiful carved Jain temples made of marble. In the 11th century,
Karndev came to power and this city came to be known as "Karnavati". This city came to be
popularly known as "Jainpuri Rajnagari". Many great Acharyas, Sadhus and Sadhvis do
Chaturmas here. Many temples of this city are more than 100 years old and hence they have
become Tirths. This beautiful, delightful, alluring and influential idol of Shri Sukh Sagar
Parshvanath is in the temple of Shri Simandar Swami. This idol made of metal along with a
beautiful Parrikar belongs to the 15th century. When a devotee worships this idol, he has a feeling
of abundance joy and happiness within himself. Hence this idol is known as "SukhSagar
Parshvanath". Sukh Sagar means "Ocean of Happiness".

3. There is a white – coloured beautiful, delightful and alluring. idol of SukhSagar Parshvanath in
Sthamban Parshvanath Tirth. This idol was installed by the revered hands of Acharya Shri
Vijaysensurishvarji in the 17th century.

temples here which are very popular and famous.

"108 Naam Garbhit Shri Parshvanath Stavan", in "135 Naam Garbhit Shri Parshvanath Stavan", in
"108 Parshvanath Ke Chaand" etc. Stavans on Shri Sukh Sagar Parshvanath have also been
written. There is an idol of Shri Sukh Sagar Parshvanath in Kalikund Parshvanath temple in
Santacruz, Mumbai.
