Tirth: It is in the centre of the village Naroda in Ahmedabad.

Historicity: There is an evidence that Naroda to the east of Ahmedabad is the Nishadh city of ancient times. It is believed that this was the city of King Nal. This splendid temple with a summit was built by Shet Shri Harisingh Kesarisingh.This idol was found from under the ground. This alluring and awe – inspiring idol is very famous in Ahmedabad. Crowds of Pilgrims swarm here on the 1st day of every month and on Purnima day  of every month. Worshipped by goddess Padmavathi, this idol of Padmavathi Parshvanath is also known as Naroda Parshvanath but it is more popularly known as Godiji Parshvanath. There is an ancient idol of Goddess Padmavati here which is very influential and miraculous.

Works of art and Sculpture:Although the idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath in this temple is small, it is very beautiful, alluring and delightful. Many ruins found from a hillock near this templemake one infer that there was a very ancient and splendid temple here.The miraculous idol of Goddess Padmavati fulfills desires of faithful devotees. On auspicious occasions, people respectfully offer a Chundadi (a silken garment with designs painted on it) to Goddess Padmavati. On the walls in the temple, paintings of various sacred places can be seen.

Guidelines: It is in the centre of the Bazaar in the village of Naroda at a distance of 8 kms. from Ahmedabad and at a distance of 1.5 kms. from Naroda railway station. Bus service, taxi service and other vehicles are available here. There is an upashraya here. Dharamshala and Bhojanshala facilities are available here.

Scripture: A mention of Padmavati Parshvanath is made in “365 Shri Parshva Jin Naammala”, in “Shri Parshvanath Saptatirthi Stavan”, in “Tirthmala” etc. There is a temple of Padmavati Parshvanath in Bijapur.

श्री पद्मावती पार्श्वनाथ – अहमदाबाद
अहमदाबाद से पूर्व दिशा में आए नरोडा गाँव में सेठ हठी सिंग केसरीसिंग द्वारा निर्मित शिखरबद्ध भव्य जिनालय है| इस जिनालय के मुलनायक श्री पद्मावती पार्श्वनाथ है, जो गोदी पार्श्वनाथ के नाम से अधीक प्रसिद्ध है|
ये प्रतिमाजी १३ इंच ऊँचे व १०.५ इंच चौड़े है| ये प्रभुजी जमीन में से प्रगट हुए है|
इस मंदिर में रही पद्मावती देवी भी अत्यंत प्राचीन व प्रभावशाली है, इस कारण ये पार्श्वनाथ भी पद्मावती पार्श्वनाथ के नाम से ख्याति प्राप्त है|
