Tirth: It is in the centre of Bali village.
Historicity: The village of Bali is the heart of Godvad Kshetra. There are 2 ancient temples in Bali
of Adinath Bhagwan and Manmohan Parshvanath Bhagwan. V.S.1161 is written on the Idol of
Bhagwan Mamohan Parshwanth which shows the antiquity of the idol. The story goes that the
presiding deity of Bhagwan Parshvanath came in a dream of Gemaji Shravak and told him that
there is an idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath in the lake in Sela village and asked him to install it in a
temple. When the idol was found, there was an argument between the villagers of Sela and Bali as
to where the idol will be installed. It was decided that the idol will be taken in a bullock cart and
where the bullock cart stops, the idol will be installed in that village. The cart halted in the village of
Bali. Hence, a gorgeous temple was built in Bali village and this idol was installed in that temple. It
is said that this idol was installed by the revered hands of Acharya Shri Yashobhadrasurishvarji of

Manmohan Parshvanath in the Padmasana posture. There is an umbrella of 7 hoods over the
head of the idol.
Tirth: The temple is in the centre of the Kamboi village. Mirror work is beautifully done in the
temple.
Historicity: Kamboi is an ancient village of the 11th century. Kamboi village was gifted to Moolraj
by Moolnath of Mandli who had come from Vadiyar in V.S.1043. The history of this temple is
available only from the 17th century but the temple is more ancient than that period. On a metal
idol of V.S.1638, the name of Kamboi village is mentioned. On the idols which are installed on both
sides of the Mulnayak Bhagwan, it is written that the installation ceremony was done by Acharya
Shri Vijaysensurishvarji in V.S.1659 on the 13th day of the bright half of the month of Vaishak. On
the other idols, the years V.S.1504, 1505 and 1518 are written. This alluring idol of Manmohan
Parshvanath was installed in the main temple in V.S.1968. This temple was renovated again and
the installation ceremony was done on the full moon day of the month of Magh in V.S. 2003. During
the installation ceremony, nectar or ami started flowing from the idol of Bhagwan Parshvanath for a
few hours. Thousands of people present there saw this miracle and were mesmerised. A little later,
they smelt a fragrance in the air and saw rain showers outside which was perfumed. Even nature
showed its happiness. A fair is held here every year on the second day of the bright half of the
month of Phalgun. Thousands of pilgrims from far and wide come here on that day. A flag is
hoisted on the full moon day of the month of Magh. Even today many ancient idols are being found
in the village and nearby.
Other Temples: At present, there is no other temple here.
Works of art and Sculpture: This is a very ancient temple. This ancient idol of Manmohan
Parshvanath is very alluring, beautiful, influential and miraculous. Judging by the carvings done on
the Parrikar, it is believed that this idol belongs to the period of King Samprati. The flooring of the
temple is decorated with white mirrors. The walls of the temple are decorated beautifully with
colourful mirrors which increases the beauty of the temple. Mirror work is done on the walls of the
temple. The pilgrimage places like Pavapuri, Rajgrihi, Champapuri etc. are beautifully and
artistically done and the frames are hanging on the walls of the temple. The ten births of Bhagwan
Parshvanath are also artistically done and must be seen. Gajsukumal Muni standing in Kausagga
Dhyana peacefully in the burial ground with fire burning on his head should definitely be seen.
Many miracles keep happening here. It is believed that no robbery can take place in this
temple. A few months after the installation ceremony, when devotees were worshipping in the
temple they saw a shower of “scented Vasakshape” on the idol of Parshvanath Bhagwan. This
same incident happened again a few months later. An unbelievable super natural incident
happened on Karthik Purnima day. After Aarti in the evening, the doors of the temple were closed
for the night. Suddenly, the whole temple was illuminated with divine light from outside. People
were spellbound seeing this and started gathering there from far and near to see this miracle. The
source of this light was not known and people were getting impatient and wanted to know the
reason. So, the doors of the temple were opened again at 11pm. in the night. As soon as the doors
were opened, this divine light vanished. The Naman (bath water) of this influential idol is like a
medicine and cures the disease of a devotee if applied with faith and devotion. Once some Sadhviji
Maharaj Sahib were coming to this Tirth. The sun was setting and they got lost. It became dark as
the clouds were gathering in the sky. They got scared and didn’t know what to do. Suddenly they
saw a light and when they looked up they could see the flag of the temple as it was illuminated by
divine light. With the help of the light, they reached the temple shortly. In another instance, two
Acharyas were halting in this temple. For continuous three days, there was a shower of saffron in
the afternoon. The silver leaves by which Bhagwan was adorned was also sprayed with the
saffron. Miracles keep happening in this temple quite frequently. At night, the sound of music and
dance can be heard in the temple.
